Paper Bow for Gifts: Step by Step Instructions with Photos and Comments
In this craft project, as in all others, we try to use only materials that are available in every household or can be found in the nearest store. For our paper bow, you only need a piece of colored paper and scissors.
A practical tip: You can use different colored paper to achieve different effects. For Christmas gifts, red, green, or gold are suitable, while for birthdays you can choose cheerful, bright colors. The wider the paper is, the bigger your bow will be.
Materials Needed:
- Colored paper (here we use red paper)
- Scissors
- Glue (craft glue or hot glue)
Paper Bow, Step 1: Prepare the Paper
Take an A4 sheet of red paper and cut off a strip that is about a quarter of the width of the A4 sheet.

Cut a shape out of the strip that looks like two small fish kissing. Jokes aside! Watch the video to see how I fold the paper to cut out the bow. Then the shape needs to be secured with glue.

Glue the finished bow onto your gift. In the video, I use craft glue (PVA), but hot glue is both more practical and faster.
