For a more vibrant look, you can choose bright colors. You can also sprinkle the feathers with some glitter before making the cuts to give them a special shine.

Required materials:

• Colored paper (here we are using pink paper)
• Scissors
• Pencil (optional, for sketching)
• Gift wrapping
• Ribbon or glue for attaching

Paper Feathers, Step 1: Prepare the Paper

Cut an A4 sheet of colored paper (we are using pink) into 4 strips of roughly equal width.

Draw an elongated, slightly curved shape on the paper strip - similar to half a feather. Then cut along this line. When you open the paper again, you will have a symmetrical feather outline. You can also cut a feather shape directly from a longer strip of paper, as seen in the picture.

Now comes the creative part: Carefully cut small notches along both sides of the feather with the scissors to create the characteristic feather fringes.
