When selecting images for websites, portfolios, or posters, similar questions often come up: The subject is right, but the photo is noisy. The crop works, but the resolution is too low. Or an AI-generated image needs a little more refinement before it can go into the layout.
Aiarty Image Enhancer can complement your existing workflow: for reducing noise, correcting mild blur, restoring faces, and upscaling images.
The software was recommended by the German photography magazines FOTOnow! (Issue 11/2026) and PHOTOGRAPHIE (“TIP – Recommended by the editors,” Issue 9–10/2026).
You can currently request a free license code and try the full version with your own images for seven days.

1. Prepare photos for publication or further editing
Travel, interior, and event photos can first be edited in Aiarty before moving on to color correction, retouching, or layout work. Supported RAW files and JPEG images can be imported directly.
For camera photos, you can start with Real-Photo v3 or More-Detail GAN v3 and compare the results on the same image. If the existing image size is sufficient, select ×1 to retain the resolution. Use the strength slider to adjust the intensity to suit the source image and intended use.
The original and two versions upscaled by 2x and processed at different strengths.
Heavily cropped photos or small image files may need more pixels to be used in a photo album, on a poster, or as a photo print. Depending on the desired output size, you can first try 2x enlargement.

If the source image also has noise, blur, or compression artifacts, you can enable 2-Pass Processing. First, the image is processed at its original resolution with More-Detail GAN v3 or AIGCsmooth v3. The main model then applies the selected enlargement. There’s no need to export the image manually and import it again.

AI-generated images can also be edited and enlarged with AIGCsmooth v3—for example, to prepare website graphics, promotional materials, or print layouts.

3. Restore old photos according to their content
When restoring family photos, scans, or historical images, you can first reduce noise and mild blur, and increase the resolution if needed. Whether face restoration is also useful depends on the subject.
Portraits and group photos: If faces are still blurry after general image processing, enable face restoration and adjust its strength separately. In group photos, you can select individual detected faces for processing.

Landscapes, architecture, and other older photos: Here, the focus is on grain, compression artifacts, and mild blur. If needed, you can then increase the resolution for presentations, layouts, or prints. Adjust the processing strength to preserve the original look of the image.

In Lightroom Classic, you can send a photo to Aiarty via Photo → Edit In → Aiarty Image Enhancer. Alternatively, right-click the photo and choose Edit In → Aiarty Image Enhancer, as shown in the screenshot. For a first try, it’s a good idea to use a copy. If you want your existing Lightroom adjustments to be applied, select the corresponding copy option.

Aiarty supports automatic setup as an external editor; V3.14 further improves the integration. After processing and exporting, you can continue in Lightroom Classic. TIFF and DNG are among the formats available for further editing in other programs.
For batches of images taken under similar conditions, first set the options for a single image, then use batch processing.
