Google is building an evaluation by Gemini into Google Forms. On the Responses tab, the AI generates an analysis with counts, percentages, correlations between questions, and suggestions for next steps. The feature is available to accounts on Business, Enterprise, and Education plans as well as with Google AI Pro and Ultra, as soon as Google enables it (announcement).
Gemini has been summarizing free-text responses in Google Forms for some time. What's new is the analysis across all question types, including suggested actions.
How do you start the evaluation?
You open the form on a computer, click Responses (German: Antworten), and in the Actionable Insights section select the Generate insights button. Google doesn't say what the labels are in the German interface. The form needs at least twelve responses and three questions.

The English help page divides the result into three parts: Executive Synthesis as a short summary, Advanced Analysis & Correlations for relationships between the questions, and Recommended Next Steps as suggested actions. Behind the arrow at Analysis steps, you can expand the calculation steps. If you don't like a result, Retry generates new insights, and you can rate Gemini with Good or Bad suggestion.
For the numbers, Gemini runs Python code on the responses so that counts, percentages, and comparisons come from the actual data and not from an estimate by the language model. Google names feedback on events and products, research surveys, as well as registration and application forms as areas of use.
Who gets the feature and where are the limits?
The evaluation is available in Business Standard and Business Plus, in Enterprise Standard and Enterprise Plus, as well as in Education Plus. Private users need Google AI Pro or Google AI Ultra. In addition, there are the Education add-on packages Google AI Pro for Education and Teaching and Learning. Business Starter is not on the list.
Domains with rapid release (Rapid Release) get the feature from November 2, 2026, domains with scheduled release (Scheduled Release) from November 19, 2026. It can take up to 15 days in each case until the feature becomes visible. Gemini must be active in the account: users need smart features with personalization turned on, and admins can enable personalization by default in the Admin console.
The evaluation is missing for forms with active quiz settings, as well as for forms with a linked Google Sheet that you don't have access to. Whether the feature works on mobile, which languages it understands, and whether Google stores the results are not answered by the help page; for languages, it refers to a separate list. The text summary in Forms does not store its results.
Google itself warns that Gemini can make inaccurate or inappropriate suggestions and does not replace medical, legal, or financial advice.
What this means for you
First check whether your plan is on the list and whether smart features with personalization are turned on in your account. In company accounts, the Admin console decides this, so ask your IT department if needed.
Try out the evaluation on a real survey with at least twelve responses, for example feedback on a workshop. In the first runs, expand Analysis steps and recalculate one or two values in the response table before you pass recommendations on to customers. It's best to copy the insights into a separate document, because it remains unclear whether Google stores them.
If the responses contain personal data of your customers or students, it's best to clarify beforehand whether your plan and your data protection rules cover an evaluation by Gemini. For quiz forms, you'll stick with the existing evaluation for now.
Google announced the new feature on November 5, 2026.
