A new menu, Elementor → Agent Ready, bundles in Elementor 4.4 all the settings that let AI agents find, read, and use a website. The beta has been running since October 26, 2026, and Beta 2 was released on November 2. The release notes give November 9 as the release date, explicitly as an estimate.
Miriam Schwab, who is responsible for WordPress at Elementor as Head of WordPress, presents the new feature in a blog post and also names the limits of the technology.
According to Elementor, the menu includes six components, all free of charge:
- Readiness Scanner: rates the website in the areas Find, Read, and Act and suggests fixes
- llms.txt: an index of the content as Markdown at /llms.txt, optionally with llms-full.txt, which contains the full content; you choose the content types yourself
- Markdown pages: versions of your pages without layout, navigation, and scripts
- Agent Discovery: the files agent.json (or agent-skills.md) and api-catalog under /.well-known/
- Bot Access: controls the robots.txt separately by Search, Answer, and Train, globally, per bot, or for custom bots
- WebMCP: four read-only WebMCP tools for business information, content search, page structure, and page content
Actions such as submitting a form are to follow later, first for Atomic Forms. Elementor does not give a date.
WebMCP works differently from llms.txt. The website describes its actions to the browser agent with a name, description, and required inputs, and the agent calls these actions in the visitor's tab. The llms.txt file, by contrast, sits on the server as text. Chrome and Edge are testing WebMCP in a trial phase (Origin Trial) until March 30, 2027. WebKit rejects the standard, and all browsers on the iPhone use WebKit. Visitors with an iPhone will therefore probably not be able to reach the tools.
Whether agents will call such tools at all remains open. Schwab writes that it is still unclear when agents in ordinary browsers will look for tools before reading a page. Prompt injection, that is, manipulated page content that tricks an agent into unwanted calls, is also unsolved, in her words.
What does Agent Ready cost, and how do you turn on the menu?
All Agent Ready features are free and switched off by default. Elementor does not overwrite existing files. If you edit an llms.txt by hand, the plugin no longer updates it when content changes. Elementor names no restrictions by country, and you only need Elementor Pro for Pro features of the beta such as the carousel, not for Agent Ready.

What this means for you
It's best to test the beta on a copy of your website, not on the live version, because beta software can contain bugs. Start the Readiness Scanner there and rescan after each fix. The scanner shows you, in the areas Find, Read, and Act, where your site has gaps for agents.
Then decide deliberately what you turn on. Bot Access separates Search, Answer, and Train in the robots.txt. Read through the three categories carefully before you allow or block any of them.
If you edit the llms.txt generated by Elementor by hand, the plugin no longer updates the file when content changes. In that case, plan to keep the file up to date yourself.
Our assessment: For agencies and freelancers who build with Elementor, the beta is a low-cost test case because everything is free and off by default. Whether agents will use the files and tools will only become clear over time. For now, you shouldn't count on WebMCP for iPhone visitors.
