Mockups: because 3D looks stronger than 2D

Whether in your online portfolio or for presentations to customers - show your brochure designs as they will look later: stapled together, curved, unfolded and with shadows. Printing, arranging and photographing the brochures first would certainly be too time-consuming. This is especially true if you are presenting an interim version of your design and there are probably still changes to be made. Use the mockups instead. Staging square brochures - this is how you proceed

The mockups have been specially prepared for brochures in square format (210 mm × 210 mm, but can also be used for other square sizes). Open a mockup in Photoshop. Then double-click on a smart object layer and insert your design in the open workspace via File>Place and Embed.... Set the selection for Crop to Media frame. Blender out the sample image and save your cover file - your design is already in the scene in the correct perspective and with a prepared shadow effect.
