Download these macros for Affinity Photo and give your photos a dreamy to fairytale fall look.

The macro file contains a total of 7 automatically running macros. The first one lays the foundation for the look. Click on it and dozens of commands will rattle through the program and your photo will once again be surrounded by the golden colors of autumn. You can then further adjust the overall appearance with the help of two fog macros, a contrast macro, a detail sharpening macro, a glow macro and a blue tint.

You will also receive three PNG files with falling autumn leaves against a transparent background, which you can place in your photos as an additional autumnal element. Two JPG files with light effects are also included. Insert them and set the blend mode to multiply negative. This will make the black background disappear from the pictures and the light effects will light up in your photos.

You can also further refine the final look by toning down the effects, adjusting them locally or adding additional image elements. Create your own personal fall look!

Seven macros for Affinity Photo and autumnal images

Create the basis for the autumn look with a first macro. Click on it and dozens of commands and functions will start rattling through Affinity Photo. The result: your photo is once again surrounded by the golden colors of autumn . You then have the option of playing other macros and even combining them with each other. With two fog macros, you can add a grayish or rather bluish veil, which results in a more mystical overall picture. You can also use the macros to add a blue tint, increase the contrast and sharpen the details. A macro also takes you into the world of fairy tales, with which you can create a luminous glow of light and color.

To further refine your autumnal photos , you have three images with autumn leaves at your disposal, which you can simply apply as overlays and position freely. You will also receive two overlays that you can use to create bokeh and light effects. Add these images to a new layer and set the blend mode to multiply negative. This will make the black background disappear and the effects will light up in your image.

Individualize the autumn look - tips for application

Each of your photos is unique - you may want to adjust and refine the created autumn look accordingly. To do this, you can use the opacity of the layers created by the action to reduce the strength of the individual effects globally. You can also intervene locally: To do this, activate the layer masks, select a black, soft brush and paint in the areas of your image where you want the generated look to be less strong.

And a few more tips for a quick start: On a Mac, simply import the macros by double-clicking on the macro file. On Windows, open the Affinity Photo library and click on Import macros in the small menu at the top right. To start a macro, simply click on it. If this does not work directly, right-click, select Edit macro and then start the macro using the play icon.
