In this training course, I will not only introduce you to the topic of audio editing, but also show you some of the very diverse functions that this program has to offer. The free version offers everything a beginner's heart desires and allows you to realize your own creative pieces of music on 8 tracks, whether sample-based or recorded live via MIDI. I'll give you tips on handling and editing audio clips - whether it's arranging, Live Arranger, VST MIDI instruments or final mastering. With this training course, you will be well prepared for your musical, creative ideas.

Magix has been known for many years as a supplier of audiovisual software products, particularly in the consumer sector. In addition to a whole range of very high-quality audio programs, the free version of Magix Music Maker stands out in particular. In this part of the training series, I will show you where you can obtain the free version or, if desired, the higher-quality versions. I will also explain the differences.

Although Magix Music Maker comes with its own loop management system, this still leaves a lot to be desired and functions that alternative programs can handle better. The free program from Loopcloud is one such representative and, in addition to numerous free samples of its own, offers very valuable functions that allow you to work more effectively. I will briefly introduce you to this possible alternative in this part of the training series.

The MIDI editor in Magix is a very powerful tool when it comes to implementing or subsequently editing your own creations using a MIDI device. In this part of the training, I will briefly introduce it.

In the field of electronic music, tempo-increasing beats are very popular. In this part of the training, I will show you how to create and export such beats yourself using a sample.

You can load numerous effects onto each of your audio objects and thus influence the sound. In this part of the training, I will introduce you to a few of the options in more detail.

I have arranged a little song especially for this training and will not only present the result to you in this training, but also show you little special features that you can incorporate into such a project.

For a long time, Magix supplied its own Music Editor, which you can use to edit individual samples or, for example, create your own sound recordings (e.g. vocals). Note: The latest version no longer has this function in the program after an update. This function has been removed from the context menu and in the options. However, the Music Editor can be easily installed from an older program version.

The Live Arranger is an interesting function for DJs or when ad hoc projects are to be created. You can loop 16 partial parts, record them or play them back as a step sequence.

Once the composition is complete, it is often time for mastering - i.e. finalizing the sound of the piece. You can fine-tune each sample as well as entire tracks and, if desired, even the entire composition. In this part of the training, I will show you what options Magix Music Maker has to offer.
