First, open Luminar 4 and select the image you are working on. It is the first image in your editing series. You can click on the templates field at the bottom to access various preset looks and filters. To ensure everything functions correctly, select the image you want to adjust.

Now you decide to create a new look – for example, for landscape photos. Here, you want to apply a filter that is stylish and visually appealing. An example would be the “AI Sky Replacement” filter. This filter allows you to replace the sky in an image with another to achieve a more dramatic effect.

After changing the sky, you can adjust the vignette settings. A vignette gives your image more depth and highlights the center. You can set the strength and size as desired. To do this, pull the slider left to reduce the strength and push the edges of the vignette more into the background.

In the next step, you can adjust the color in the image. It makes sense to reduce the color intensity to create a harmonious overall picture. Are you satisfied with your look? To save everything now, go to the bar below the image area and click on the option "New Look". Here you can give your template a memorable name, such as “Landscape Sample Look”. This look will then be saved in the library under “My Luminar Looks.”

To ensure that everything works properly, switch to the library and select another image that also has a sky. Click on your newly created look, and the adjustments should automatically be applied to the new image. Check whether the vignette and the overall image saturation were transferred correctly.

If you want to adjust the strength of your look further, you can use the strength slider until you are satisfied with the result. It's important that this corresponds to your desired style.

If you now want to save your look to your hard drive and share it with other users, right-click on your look and select the option “Export.” You can then choose a location on your hard drive, give it a concise name, and save everything.
