Step 1: Access Streamlabs Settings

To use the remote control feature, you first need to access the settings in Streamlabs on your computer or laptop. In the application, go to "Settings" and click on the "Remote" option. Here you will find a code that you need.

Step 2: Generate QR Code

After clicking on "Remote", a QR code will be displayed. This QR code is the key to connect your phone with Streamlabs. Scan this QR code using the "Streamlabs Deck" app.

Step 3: Download Streamlabs Deck

To use the application, you first need to install the Streamlabs Deck app on your smartphone or tablet. Search for "Streamlabs Deck" in the Play Store and download the app.

Step 4: Log in with your Account

Open the downloaded app and log in with the same account you use for Streamlabs OBS. In my case, that is my Twitch account. Make sure to grant the app all necessary permissions to ensure a smooth connection.

Step 5: Scan QR Code

Now you can scan the previously generated QR code. If it doesn't work on the first try, try rotating your phone. Sometimes the orientation of the QR code can make scanning difficult.

Step 6: Use Streamdeck

Once the QR code has been successfully recognized, you will be redirected to an interface that functions as a stream deck. Here you can control various functions:

• In the upper left corner, you'll find the "Go Live" option to start streaming immediately.
• Next to it is the "Start Track" button, which allows you to start a recording.
• In the lower left corner, you will see a gear icon that lets you hide specific scenes.

Step 7: Scene Switching and Source Management

To switch between different scenes, you can simply tap on the respective scene on your phone. The switch happens immediately, ensuring that you always maintain control over your stream.

If you scroll further down, you will find the available sources. For example, you can hide a source simply by tapping on it. Additionally, you have the option to mute your microphone, speakers, and other sources.

Step 8: Save Adjustments

If you have removed scenes or sources from your stream deck, you should ensure that these changes are saved. Click on "Save" to apply your adjustments.
